High Impressions - Why Not Getting Clicks?

Having 2+ years of work experience in the digital marketing industry, I observed that some of the websites have a good impression rate, as well as keywords, are also SERP ranking but not getting traffic.

I am taking an example of my website. I really worked hard and got ranked on the 1st page in SERP Result. I continuously checked my website in google webmaster (Google search Console). After some times I noticed that I was not getting clicks or relevant traffic when impressions were good & keyword ranked well. I audit my website through different tools but not got any solution.

Then I started some research for some new keyword. I divided the keywords into 3 categories:

1.       Who is not Really Ranking

I deeply analyzed my keywords after analysis found that keywords who have not in ranking and not getting any impression. So I discarded those keywords.

2.       Keywords who don’t deliver:

I note down that keyword who doesn’t deliver any traffic or click. I discarded those keywords.

3.       Results Don't Get Clicked:

I strike those keywords that are getting impressions but not delivering any traffic.

Some Checkout Points:

1.       Is your keyword Optimal?

2.       Is your landing page?

3.       Web Page Loading Speed

4.       Website content

5.       Keyword Density

6.       Meta titles

7.       Meta Descriptions

8.       Keywords

9.       Use Negative Keywords
